O filme é baseado no livro Frankenstein de Mary Shelley. Foi a primeira versão para os cinemas, algumas partes desse filme são coloridas, geralmente em sépia.

Despite another decade, the films didn’t get much better. While the video quality of this 1910s film is lower than 1/10, there is a “remastered” version with high-quality text cards on top, all in English language too. This movie also has the yellow filter which often symbolized the daytime. For example, the original Dracula movie (called Nosferatu) used blue cards for “the nighttime (despite being filmed during the day), and yellow for every other time of the day.
By the way, I don’t think it will be easy to find the original, unedited version that had a few minutes of hardcore. We’ve seen this one in the theaters back in the 90s, so if anyone can link to the full experience, there’s a contact form.

never thought I'd download a movie from this site for reasons other than prurient.

A fascinating piece of early movie history, but I don't see what it's doing on a porn site.
